PGR - Welcome Home TSgt Richard Reece SJC

Pics are from top to bottom, click on a pic twice to see it full size, text for a pic is under the pic, sorry for my camera skills, sigh....

Ricard's Father-in-law Don Brown, a fellow scoot rider, wanted a welcome home ride and so did we!  Thank you for asking!  Great day and great ride!

Turns out that Richard is a USAF Motorcycle Safety Instructor.  So when he rides with us, I can get some lessons!  GBG

Welcome home!!! Hope the entire family has a very well deserved  enjoyable time!    Mark Z the Ride Captain and I are USAF also.  SSGT - 63 - 67 for me.

Folks chatting as normal.  Scotty/Pastor on the left and Slickjohn, one of our road guards,  with the pony tail center.  Both fellow ALR District 13 riders, and Doug was there also.

Mark about to give us our say once.  Lots of the regulars and a new member!  Thank you for joining us!  Doug is second from right.

Other side of the line.  Father-in-Law Don is center in blue shirt.

Buzz B just pulled in and Mark Z asked him to check with SJC parking for our arrival.

Another scoot came in a bit later.  We had about 25 scoots and Earl's escort car with the yellow flasher on top.  Nice attention getter!

In front of Earl's car was this side of the line up, Sweet Ruby in front, ahem my scoot!!

The rest.  And on to the airport we go!

Forming up at arrivals at Terminal B.  First time there for me, very nice! Don in front with his vest and flag.

The family front of the line.

More of the group....  Earl B with his flag second from left.
I went up front to get a pic of Richards wife Dawn and FIL Don on her left.

Other side of the line.  A great showing for the mission, thanks to all that rode!

Don holding grand daughter Lexi.

My memory, sigh... The first on the right rode up on a Kawasaki Vulcan 900, and I ride a 1500 Nomad.  I chatted with him a bit and he had the 900 gripes and I told him the solution and where to find them,  www.vroc.org.   Anthony, one of our road guards on his right.

Well, here comes Richard and guess who got to the front of the line for hugs!!!  Yup, Lexi!!!  Cathy is taking their pic.

We were afraid Richard was going to leave!!!  We had to have our Mug and Hug!!!

Pictures and hugs!  Cathy shooting some shots.

Of course Don had to get in there too!  Great on Ya!

Don, Dawn and Richard/Lexi.

Nice picture!  Cathy, Don, Dawn, Richard/Lexi!!   And time to head out!

Where we were parked at the airport.

Kinda unusual, we normally "ambush" our package but today, they joined us at the curb.

We normally wait out beyond the airport, prearranged with the family, and the guest is unsuspecting, and they fall in with the escort.   Normally a BIG surprise!

Getting ready to head home.

All arrive safely, and one of our riders had to leave.

Getting ready to head over to the greeting.

Others...

We just kinda parked where we could.....

Mark getting ready for the "pinning".

Lexi  was just having a great time!

Mark about to present our Mission Accomplished pin.

Scotty/Pastor also presented an American Legion pin.

I'm sorry I missed it, Mark asked Lexi to give a salute and her right hand was on the way down.

Great escort!  Thanks to the family for the invite and thanks to Mark Z for taking the mission!
